Dear Staff,
Thank you again for your superior care of mom during her final days. I am so grateful to all of you for you efforts "above and beyond" your regular duties. It takes devoted people to love and care even when someone is, at times not very lovable. Not only did you do a superb job of meeting her physical needs but you helped ensure as much dignity as was humanly possible as she was on her death bed. You cooperation and consideration for me as well will never be forgotten. Thank you. With sincere affection, Naelle W. Dear Staff, A big "Thank you!" for remembering my birthday in a very special way. You made it a time that was much appreciated by both mother and myself. You are all truly a thoughtful, caring staff. I feel truly blessed to have you each as an important part of my mother's daily life. Very sincerely, Jamie G. Dear Staff, On behalf of our entire family, we wish to express our sincere appreciation for the kindness and support you have shown during our mother, Teresa's illness and her passing last week. Most especially, we would like to thank you for the outstanding care that you provided to her during the past few years. You and your staff run a first rate organization. In today's world, it is not easy finding a place that offers the kind of care, compassion and resources that the Pines of Lake Fenton provides to its residents. Our mother truly enjoyed her time at your home. We took comfort in knowing that she was always in very good hands. We would like to recognize one of you nurses. Evelyn, who befriended out mother and gave her outstanding care and attention. She unselfishly spent extra time that that we know took her away from her own family, with our mother during her final month at the Pines. Evelyn is one example of the outstanding people we have come to know on your staff since out mother first came to you facility. Please accept the enclosed check in the amount of $500 as a gift in our mother's memory restricted for additional activities for the residents. Thank you, once again, for all that you did for our mother, as well as all that you continue to do for the people of the Fenton community. May god bless you in the days ahead! Sincerely, Arlene V. and Warren R. Dear Robin and Staff: Thank you for making my family and I feel so welcome during my Mother's stay with you. Your concern and kindness touched our hearts. You treated my Mom with kindness, love, and dignity, we will be forever grateful for that. Thank you so much. Mary Lydick Dear Robyn and Staff: The day I brought Dad to your facility was a very sad day for me. I had cared for Dad in our home for over three years. I was not confident about leaving him in someone else's hands. I definitely was not certain if I was doing the right thing, but I was proved wrong. Many of the staff went way beyond the call of duty when Dad's health began to fail. They would spend time with him and comfort him, helping him eat, take him to the "big" room so he could be where the action was, read to him, take him to and from the bathroom, and turn on his CD player so he could listen and "sing" to his favorite songs, especially "we'll meet again". Words cannot express how much my family and I appreciate how you cared for "Dad" and "Grandpa". I know some days were very difficult caring for him …. But you did! We have lost a wonderful member of our family, but heaven has gained a "special" angel. To those of you who attended his funeral, I thank you. It meant a lot to me to see you there. Thank you for being there for "Ray". I will always remember you. You are the "Angels" on earth. Love, Delrae's Family Dear Robyn & Staff: On behalf of my family, I would like to express our sincere appreciation for all that you did during my Grandma Kitty's stay at The Pines of Lapeer. You and your staff truly went above and beyond the call of duty during that difficult time. Not only did you allow us to stay with her for several days straight, you stayed right along with us. We could not have asked for more caring, selfless people to be there helping us through that process. We will forever be grateful to you for providing such good care during her final days. Your job can not be an easy one, but I hope you find comfort in the fact that you make a tremendous impact in the lives of the people and family's you care fore. It was a pleasure to spend that time with you! Sincerely, Laura Frazer & Kitty Barnum's Family |
